He founded Infoteria Corporation in 1998 and took the present office. From 1987 to 1998, he was in charge of a wide range of product planning and marketing at Lotus Development Corporation, from the Lotus 1-2-3 R2.1 J (for DOS) spreadsheet software to the Lotus Notes/Domino groupware. He worked as Deputy General Manager of Strategic Planning Department at Lotus. From 1983 to 1986, he developed a Japanese word processor, which became the best seller of the year 1985, at Carry Lab Corporation. He started his studies in engineering at Kumamoto University but quit university to establish Carry Lab Corporation. He was born in Kumamoto Prefecture.
He founded Infoteria Corporation in 1998. From 1991 to 1998, he worked for Lotus Development Corporation and took leadership in development of Domino Workspace (for integrated Internet environment), Domino Merchant (web commerce building tool), and other web application tools as well as Lotus Word Pro, AmiPro, and other Japanese word processors. He was General Manager of the Fifth Development Department in Development Headquarters at Lotus. From 1990 to 1991, he was engaged in localization of NeXT Operating System into Japanese at Canon Incorporated. From 1988 to 1990, he worked at Japan Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard Japan Ltd.) to design and implement electronic bond dealing system for commercial banks. He is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University. He was born in Nagano Prefecture.
He took the present office in June 2006. He joined Infoteria in July 2003 and took charge of Control Department. He became General Manager of Corporate Strategy Department at Netvein Incorporated in April 2001 and Deputy Manager of Accounting Control Department at Ascii Corporation in March 1991.
